A lifelong Santa Ana resident and daughter of immigrants, Jessie knows firsthand the struggles working families face – affording rent, securing good-paying jobs, and accessing quality public services. From a young age, she dedicated herself to serving her community, tutoring students, volunteering at food banks, and later fighting for tenant protections, affordable housing, and environmental justice. Her deep roots and lived experience make her uniquely qualified to represent the district in Sacramento.
